Website for logos

On www.biz-logos.com/logo-examples there are many good examples of business logos and other things such as churches, hospitals, and construction companies. I think this can help people get many good ideas on how to make there logo and what to use.

Panarama Project

This is a combination of a number of photos of two rooms that are connected in my house, my kitchen and my living room. First after taking the photos and uploading them i opened them all in photoshop. I dragged them all into a new window and began placing them together. I messed with the brightness and contrast to get the photos to match. I used some erasing and made the edges soft. After every picture was in place and matched each other i cropped the picture then saved it.

"13 Lessons to teach your children digital photography"

Lesson 1 is about experimenting with different perspectives and angles, far shots and close shots, and moving your subject around to shoot from different sides. I agree you do need to change the perspectives and experiment because it can make the photos much more interesting instead of the same boring straight on photo. Rule 5 is about getting in close to your subjects. This can help capture the details to make photos more interesting. Rule 7 is about taking a photos but keeping a balance of people and sights. When you go somewhere the people can be just as interesting as the sights so take some of both. Rule 8 is about finding a focal point to make a picture more interesting. Some really good photos that i have seen use this rule. Rule 9 is the rule of thirds. This makes it so your subject is off centered. This can make photos much more interesting. Rules 11 is about focal lock. You need to press the shutter halfway down to focus and then to frame the shot while still while still holding it down. This will help you choose what you want to be your focal point.

I don't like this label because i think the green thing is supposed to be a "W" but its kinda hard to tell because it just looks sloppy.

I like this logo because there is some color and they use an actual domino in the logo. So it connects the name of the business to the actual an actual domino.

My exploration of photoshop.com

During my exploration of www.photoshop.com/express i found out that they are very similar. They have many of the same tools but they are in different layouts than they are in photoshop. They are under basics, tuning, and effects. I like the website because you can edit your photos very easily without having to install all the Adobe Photoshop software. I will definitely use it at my house since i dont have the photoshop software on my computer.

Juicy Myers Must Die

For all the faces i used the magnetic lasso tool then moved their faces from other photos onto this one. I then resized them to fit onto the bodies until they matched pretty well. I adjusted the brightness and contrast to make their faces match the bodies. They I used the Horizontal text tool for the title and quote on the bottom. And Last I used the erase tool to do some editing around the edges.

Professional Interview with Cindy Black

I interviewed Cindy Black who owns Special T's and More

Q: What are some of the basic design principles you use when designing a Shirt?
A: Most of the time the clients know what they want on their shirts so they will mail it to her and she or someone else working will redraw it if need be. If the client doesn't really have much of an idea they will use a program called Freehand and draw a couple options and let them pick.

Q:What Software Programs do you like to use?
A: Cindy mostly uses a program called Freehand and she also uses Photoshop to do her designing and editing.

Q:What are some Tips you have for people wanting to get into the business to be successful?
A: " Give it 110% and have a good service."

Q:How many years have you been in your line of work?
A:" About 18 years."

My name is Rainey Hull. I have been involved in the Digi Awards. Three other people and myself made a video called "Life as a Blonde" which we placed second with. I have also done some web design for the NETA competition. We made a video about palm pilots and how to use everything on them. We placed 3rd out of 15 teams. My group was the youngest group competing.
